The Eastfield Urban Quarter, located next to Wellingborough's main line railway station and the town centre is a brownfield regeneration site that will provide up to 1,000 residential units as well as some ultra-modern live-work units, flexible commercial space, high quality landscaped, publicly accessible open space and a range of new community facilities. Road and public transport enhancements will also contribute to the successful development of this new community in the heart of Wellingborough as will the provision of a ‘community box' (multi use community hall), managed allotments, a green classroom and a new ‘central park' open space with restaurants bars and community facilities.

This development will feature high quality sustainable design and construction techniques with homes achieving a BREEAM/Eco Homes rating of at least very good. The central area is designed mostly as a pedestrian zone with cars kept away and located in undercroft parking areas making the development largely car free.
